Anne Harth studied physics at Leibniz Universität Hannover. During her doctoral thesis, she worked on the generation and manipulation of ultrashort light pulses in the visible spectral range. Her doctorate in 2013 was followed by a 3.5-year post-doctoral stay in Lund, Sweden. There, she took the opportunity to literally expand her “spectrum” by developing an XUV laser source together with her colleagues. Since 2017, she has been using such XUV laser sources here at the MPIK to study and understand the interaction of light with quasi-free electrons.
