Development digital
In connection with physical experiments, the main topic "digital electronics" means mainly processing analogue signals from various types of sensors or analogue output of digital signals: the use of various analogue-to-digital or digital-to-analogue converters is the central topic. The applications range from "slow control" (a few Hz to several 10 kHz, "slow" acquisition/control/regulation of e.g. voltage sources) to "high-speed" data acquisition with high-resolution A/D conversion at clock rates of several 100 MHz. Within the digital domain, high transfer speeds with simultaneous high data integrity are of elementary importance.
