Guoyuan Huang appointed at the China University of Geosciences in Wuhan

Dr. Guoyuan Huang accepted as of Febrary 1, 2024, a call for an associate professorship at the School of Mathematics and Physics of the China University of Geosciences in Wuhan, People's Republic of China.

After studying physics at Wuhan University, Guoyuan Huang went to the Institute of High Energy Physics in Beijing to pursue his doctorate in theoretical physics and obtained a Ph.D. degree in 2020 on the topic ``The origin of massive neutrinos and their properties''. He was subsequently awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship and joined the Max Planck Institut für Kernphysik as a postdoc. Together with his hosts, Priv.-Doz. Dr. Werner Rodejohann and Prof. Dr. h. c. Manfred Lindner, he continued his successful research vey successfully at MPIK on theoretical particle physics and its interplay with cosmology and astrophysics. In November 2023, he was selected as a ``Hundred Talent Program Scholar'' of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Now he has accepted a call for an associate professorship at the  School of Mathematics and Physics of the China University of Geosciences in Wuhan.
