How to reach the institute:

By car:
Coming from the north or south on Autobahn A5, turn onto A656 at the 'Autobahnkreuz Heidelberg'. Exit A656 into 'Bergheimerstrasse', follow it to the 'Bismarckplatz' (Kaufhaus Galeria Kaufhof). There turn right into 'Rohrbacherstrasse'. From 'Rohrbacherstrasse' turn left into 'Steigerweg' and follow the signs named 'MPI für Kernphysik'.

By train:
From Heidelberg main station take train OEG 5 or bus lines 32, 33 or 34 to Bismarckplatz. From Bismarckplatz take bus line 39 to stop: MPI Kernphysik (about 15 minutes).

By plane:
Airport Frankfurt/Main, Lufthansa Airport Shuttle Frankfurt–Heidelberg (the trip takes about one hour). Stop at: Crowne Plaza Hotel Heidelberg, Kurfürstenanlage 1, continue with a taxi to the institute.
