Submission of manuscripts

The page limit is 12 pages for long talks and 6 pages for contributed talks and posters. A web based upload page is provided.

Proceedings

The proceedings will appear in the conference series of AIP. The deadline for submitting the contributions is Sep-15 2004. Detailed instructions for the authors will be given during the conference by a representative of AIP.

Instructions for oral presentations

The convention center offers a projector for computer assisted presentations and an overhead projector for transparencies. To avoid delays by switching computers, the Organizers kindly ask the speakers of contributed talks to bring their presentation on portable media (USB memory, Compact Flash card, 3.5" floppy with 1.44 MB, IOMEGA ZIP) in one of the three supported formats: Windows Power Point Version 97,98, 2000, 2001 or XP-2002), Portable Document Format (pdf), or OpenOffice. The preferred format is pdf. The presentations can be copied onto the computer used for the presentations on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10:30 until the lunch break. You will find a member of the local organizing committee in the Internet Cafe who will assist you. In case you are using a Macintosh based presentation, please contact a member of the local organizing committee as early as possible. Review and invited speakers are welcome to use the same system.

Poster Information

We can accomodate posters up to a size of 100cm (width) x 150cm (length). The posters will be on display throughout the entire conference.

Poster sessions

We have included a poster session of 30 minutes on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and 1 hour on Wednesday. All posters will be on display throughout the week.

Contributed talks

As we were informed that the conference site is only available until 18:00 (sharp!) we have to ask the speakers of contributed papers to reduce the allocated time from 15 to 10 minutes (8 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for the discussion).

Timetable of oral talks

The timetable of oral talks, including review, invited, and contributed talks is now available.

Conference proceedings

The proceedings will be published in the AIP Conference Proceedings series, similar to the Heidelberg Gamma 2000 Symposium (which is volume 558).
Instructions are now available. (See Proceedings page.)

List of invited speakers

The list of review and other talks by invited speakers is now available. (See Program page.)
