Accommodation

Heidelberg has plenty of hotels and participants should arrange hotel accommodation individually. We recommend hotels around Bismarckplatz (Bismarck square) or in the old town. Since the annual castle illumination and fireworks take place on the weekend before the start of the conference, many tourists are expected that time in Heidelberg and we strongly advice to book hotels as early as possible.
Attention: Scam regarding Accommodation
We were informed that an imposter, claiming to be a travel agency, is contacting participants via telephone or email. He offers presumably fake hotel rooms. We are not connected to that entity. Please do not book those hotel rooms. You will likely become victim to a fraud. In case you have already booked hotel rooms offered by the imposter, get in touch with us please.
