Application of GLoBES: GLACIER on neutrino beams

Abstract
Studies on sensitivity to $\theta_$, CP-violation and mass hierarchy were carried out locating a 100 kton LAr detector (GLACIER) on different neutrino beams, namely upgraded versions of the T2K and the CNGS neutrino beams. The GLoBES software was used for the first time to assess the performance of a LAr TPC in studying neutrino oscillations in a long-baseline experiment. We present here the obtained results underlining the qualities of the software and the few problems we experienced in using it.
