Progress of Long-Baseline Neutrino Experiments at Fermilab

Abstract
In 1991, there was a workshop on long-baseline neutrino oscillations at Fermilab. The MINOS collaboration formed in 1994 and submitted its proposal in 1995. The NuMI beam started in 2004 and MINOS presented its first results on neutrino oscillation parameters in 2005. A range is reported for $delta m2_{32}$ and for $\sin2(2 \theta_{23}$. The off-axis NOvA experiment has grown out of efforts to consider superbeams in the last few years, and the interest in $\theta_{13}$. The importance of simulations at every stage in these experiments will be considered.
