Overview

The workshop is from Friday, 1st June to Saturday, 2nd June, and will discuss detector calibrations and energy scale systematics in liquid scintillator neutrino experiments. The main focus is on the measured spectral shape of reactor antineutrinos in θ13 and short baseline experiments. Most experiments observe deviations from the predicted spectra. The challenges of calibration in particular around the 5 MeV region and sources of non-linearity in the neutrino detectors will be reviewed. The goal is to get to a better understanding of the impact of the energy scale uncertainty on the accuracy of spectral informations.

After the end of the workshop, the Neutrino 2018 conference also takes place in Heidelberg. You can find more details on that conference on their webpage.
