Application and Admission
The school offers funding to talented students from all over the world. Admission will be granted on a competitive basis.
Prerequisites:
- Master of Science degree (or equivalent), average grade B+ or better,
- Master thesis (or publications in international, refereed journals),
- Proof of proficiency in English (if mother-tongue is not English or German),
- Sound knowledge of Quantum Mechanics (evidenced by course certificates, mark sheets etc.).
PhD students who obtain funding by the IMPRS-QD in Physics are envisaged to become also members of the Heidelberg Graduate School for Physics.
