An advanced facility for ground-based gamma-ray astronomy

Getting in touch

CTA combines the European efforts in ground-based gamma-ray astronomy. Currently about 250-300 European physicists are directly involved in this field. Already now physicists from other areas, like particle and nuclear physics, radio, optical and X-ray astronomy and neutrino astrophysics actively contribute to the definition of CTA. We explicitly invite interested members of these communities to join CTA.
