Registration Fee

*For Student Registration a verification of your status as a student is required. Please fax a confirmation of enrollment to the fax number of BESL GmbH +49 (0)30 325 9997 13 after you have registered.

The registration fee includes conference documents, refreshments during coffee breaks and a free copy of the Proceedings. Expenses for travel, accommodation and related items are not covered by the registration fee.

For all online registrations, payment must be received prior to the event. Please be advised that your registration is not considered confirmed until payment has been received in full. Please note that all payments must be made in Euros. All fees incurred in connection with bank transfers are to be paid by those making the transfer.

Social Program

The Conference Dinner (on Thursday evening; ticket for EUR 50.- includes transport with the funicular railway, reception and a buffet dinner, and a bus shuttle back to the congress venue) will take place at the scenic Molkenkur restaurant overlooking the Castle (see here for some pictures). Please find additional details here. The Conference Dinner can be booked together with the registration.

Ticktes for the Boat tour (Wednesday late afternoon, ticket for EUR 19.-, for additional details see here) can no longer be booked as full capacity of the boat has alreay been reached.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to BESL GmbH. The following cancellation fees will occur:

• Until May 31, 2012 [CET]: cancellation is free of charge


• June 1 - June 30, 2012 [CET]: 50,00 EUR


• From July 1, 2012 [CET]: the full registration fee will be charged

A substitute may be sent instead of a registered participant. In this case, please inform BESL GmbH.

Visa Information

If you need a Visa to enter Germany (click here to find a table of countries whose citizens require Visas to enter Germany), please take care to apply well in advance for it. If you require an invitation letter, please download the following pdf or word document, i.e. Invitation_letter.pdf or Invitation_letter.doc, fill in the required details and send it back to the conference secretariat (Fax: +49 6221 516 549). Please note that you have to register first before applying for a VISA invitation letter.
