Graduate Program in
Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics
Framework of courses for graduate students
in the field of Atomic, Molecular and Optical (AMO) Physics
at the University of Heidelberg and associated research institutes.
This program is aimed at students enrolled in the M.Sc. or Ph.D. programs in physics at the University of Heidelberg and who have a special interest in carrying out research in the area of AMO Physics.
Main elements of the Graduate Program:
- A core course for physics students who want to specialize in AMO Physics
- A selection of optional lectures on advanced topics in AMO Physics
- A selection of student seminars and discussion groups on advanced topics in AMO Physics
- A lab course carried out in one of the associated research institutes
Note: All courses are offered once yearly and will be held in English only.
